KATH-TV joining Alaska broadcasters to air Hoonah Police Memorial Service live on TV and online

KATH-TV NBC for Southeast Alaska is joining forces with GCI Cable, the Alaska State Troopers and partner station KTUU-TV to broadcast the Hoonah Police Memorial Service live on Wednesday September 8th at 2:30pm. The memorial service for slain Hoonah Police Officers Matthew Tokuoka and Anthony Wallace will be broadcast live on KATH-TV NBC for Southeast Alaska over-the-air in Juneau and Sitka and on GCI cable, Dish Network and DirecTV satellite TV services across Southeast Alaska.

GCI cable will also be broadcasting the ceremony live statewide on Cable Channel 1. And KTUU-TV, who is producing the broadcast, will be streaming the event live on their website www.ktuu.com. The Alaska State Troopers are organizing the broadcast and providing logistical resources to transport television production equipment and personal to the small Southeast Alaska village of Hoonah.
